Conure - Sammy - Small - Young - Female - Bird
Meet Sammy. She is a 6-7 year old jenday conure. What Sammy lacks in feathers she makes up for in personality. Sammy came to us when her previous owner no longer had time to pay attention to her and lost interest. Sammy was on a very poor diet consisting of mostly seeds. Since she has arrived at the rescue she has been on a pelleted diet and growing new feathers as you can see it these photos. She is a little bit fearful of strangers, but would warm up quickly in her forever home where she could really thrive. Conures are know to be little clowns and Sammy is no exception. Sammy is available to meet anytime during regular business hours at the rescue. Mon - Sat 10AM - 6PM Sun 10AM - 2PM
